I'm very easy to write for, I promise. I like canon and backstory/future fic (especially the weird obscure bits, as you can tell by my requests), snark and witty banter, capers and proper adventures and characterization pieces. I'd rather not have anything above PG-13 (horror or smut)- though I don't mind shipping (het/femslash/slash are all fine, incestuous pairings not so much). I'm not really in this for the smut and I'd prefer that all of the characters stayed alive. For the series books feel free to either stick to the original period when they were written or to set them "now".
As you may guess by my choice of fandoms and characters, I am fond of cheesy plots, snark and witty banter, crossovers and amazing adventures. Feel free to take advantage of this.
Beta-readers are your friends - please do check for grammar, spelling and at least a vague attempt at historical accuracy.

The Secret Country series - Pamela Dean
Laura Carroll, Ruth Carroll
Post Whim of the Dragon. How is everyone adjusting to the Hidden Land? Or possibly a story in which they figure out another way to get back to Australia or get Ruth's parents to her wedding.
I bought this series as it first came out and I spent many years waiting for Whim of the Dragon to come out (not knowing, in those days before internet, if it ever would). In lieu of the promised sequel, I'd love to see what happened after Laura, Ted & their parents and Ruth returned to the Hidden Land. You've got a few suggested plots above. Laura is my favorite of the five kids and Fence my favorite of the Hidden Land characters.
Morgan Swift Series - Various Authors
Ah, the mysterious Sam. I think it's time Jenny and Sally met him (or her, I'm not picky). Awesome adventures. Crossovers welcome but not required. Or maybe flashback fic about Morgan's life before Coolidge High. Her summer of surfing/when she met Sting/that Colorado dig.
Morgan Swift was an impossibly awesome high school teacher/adventurer with a mysterious past (think female Indiana Jones/Mary Sue), Sally and Jenny were her two students who got involved in adventures with her and Sam was mentioned about once a book - a mysterious romance/possible tragedy in Morgan's past. Anyway, adventure, possible romance, mysterious Sam - my wants are simple.
These seem to be easily available used on Amazon and Barnes and Noble. This was a very short series from the 80s - 3 books by Martine Lesley, one by Susan Saunders (which I tend to ignore as it replaces Jenny and Sally with two bland twins and manages to make Morgan Swift bland as well) and two "Find Your Fate" (choose your own adventures) type books which were awful. Feel free to just focus on the Martine Lesley books and ignore the rest.
Wynd Family - Stephen Krensky
I'd love to see the Wynds meet another magical family. Crossovers welcome or just expand on the magic in their world.
Another out of print series but copies are easy to find online, and the ebooks are free to read with Amazon Prime. Alison, Edward, Jamie, Jennifer and Perry are the kids in a family with hereditary magical powers. The books are light magical adventures/mysteries in which the kids have to band together to save the day. I just love the entire family so I'd love to see either an ensemble adventure or focus on any member or members of the family.
Christopher Cool Teen Agent - Jack Lancer
Yummi Toyama, Spice Carter
60s spy hijinks, with or without the boys along. If with, let's give the girls the time in the spotlight they didn't have in the original series.
Christopher Cool was the Stratemeyer Syndicate (Hardy Boys, Nancy Drew) attempt to cash in on the 60s spy adventure craze, complete with period-typical attempts at a) diversity (they tried, but ended up leaning on stereotypes), and b) being hip with modern teens (don't get me started). Christopher Cool and his Apache Indian roommate, Geronimo Johnson, are sophomores at an Ivy League University and secretly agents of the Top-Secret Educational Espionage Network (TEEN) along with other teens who show up periodically. Of course, the books are All About the Boys&tm; so I'd love to see Spice and Yummi as the focus.
Tom Swift Jr Series - Victor Appleton II
Phyllis Newton, Sandra Swift (Tom Swift Jr.)
Skience Adventure, with or without the boys along. If with, let's give the girls the time in the spotlight they didn't have in the original series.
These were the orange-spined Tom Swifts, the ones I grew up with. If you're familiar with any Tom Swift series, you know the drill. Science Fiction adventures with technology a little bit more advanced than what was available when they were written. And since it was a boys series, once again, the girls were mostly there to act as very thinly written love interests and occasionally to get rescued. Like in Christopher Cool, they rarely got the chance of any sort of autonomy, so I'd love to see them get some.
Betsy-Tacy Series - Maud Hart Lovelace
More about Carney please. Perhaps a story set before Betsy meets her at high school, or a story set at Vassar. Feel free to include the other characters if you wish. I love them all.
We don't see Carney before the high school books and I find myself wondering how Betsy wound up being absorbed into that Crowd so quickly. Had Carney decided Betsy would be a nice person to know? Had their paths crossed before? Or maybe a story set at Vassar as I always wanted to know more about that period in her life.
