My Dear, Adored Not Primetime Writer,
Welcome to my journal. Glad you've come. Have a chair, sit down, enjoy the scenery. I've tried not to be too difficult in my requests, but it's hard to tell sometimes.
I'm very easy to write for, I promise. I like canon and backstory (especially the weird obscure bits, as you can tell by my requests), snark and witty banter (as you might be able to tell from my choice of characters), capers and proper adventures and characterization pieces. I'd rather not have anything above PG-13 (horror or smut)- though I don't mind shipping (het/femslash/slash are all fine, incestuous pairings, not so much), I'm not really in this for the smut and I'd prefer that all of the characters stayed alive. As you may guess by my choice of fandoms and characters, I am fond of cheesy plots, snark and witty banter (see above) and amazing adventures. Feel free to take advantage of this.
Beta-readers are your friends - please do check for grammar, spelling and scientific accuracy (as far as you can). Historical accuracy too - if you're doing historical Warehouse 13, please don't assume they had access to the same technology we do now. Note that I don't expect scientific accuracy in Doctor Who - just keep it consistant with the show.
Helena "H. G." Wells, William Wolcott, Christina Wells, Caturanga
Tell me a story of Warehouse 12.
I don't know how much more I have to say about this. I love the episodes that feature Warehouse 12 and I love the time period. Christina has mostly been a cipher, so I'd like to know more about her, but a straight Warehouse 12 adventure would be good too.
If you're interested in doing a crossover, this would have been contemporaneous with Doctor Who's Paternoster gang or Adam Adamant's early career among other things....
Patsy Walker (616), Daimon Hellstrom (616)
I'd like a story from when things were going well in their relationship (ie pre-Hellstorm). My feelings about these two are very complex so I encourage you to read my Dear Author letter which will also have some other options.
I adored the J.M. Dematteis Defenders run back in the day, and this was the first couple I really shipped in comics. That being said, there is no way I'd want them together in current continuity. When Marvel set out to break them up, they did a thorough job of it and I couldn't see her going back to him (and I'd respect her less if she did).
So that leaves a few options. A story set during the time when they were happy. An AU where he didn't go off the deep end and take her with him. A modern story in canon where they had to work together and acknowledge that while they could never be together, it was good while it lasted. Especially with the last, I'd rather not see either of them being painted as the villain of the piece as I still like both characters.
If none of these options appeals to you, I'd also be interested in a Patsy Walker story set during her original romance run (with or without Daimon).
Doctor Who (Big Finish Audio)
Vislor Turlough, Deela (Doctor Who Big Finish Audio)
Apologies for being so very specific here, but at least Deela only appears in one audio (Kiss of Death). I'd like to know more about their relationship and/or Turlough's life before he was exiled to Earth.
This is really a thinly veiled request for a story about Turlough's life on Trion. I'd be just as happy with a story post-series about what happens when he returns home (and potentially the fallout from the events of Kiss of Death).
Teen Titans (Comics)
Betty Kane (Teen Titans), Lilith Clay (Teen Titans), Mal Duncan (Teen Titans), Karen Beecher (Teen Titans)
I'm feeling nostalgic. Tell me a story of the Teen Titans of yesteryear. Feel free to include any other members of the team from the 60s and 70s but I'd really like to see these four.
I think Bette Kane is awesome, but it got me nostalgic for the earlier version. I grew up reading the original Teen Titans and I just want an adventure or slice of life story featuring members of the earlier teams.
