*Stitch'n'Pitch is this national thing wherein knitters and crocheters get a group rate on a certain day to show solidarity at baseball games. They may do it for other sports too, but baseball is the only sport I'm interested in watching live.
And for those of you who don't know, the image on my icon is the Unisphere which was built for the 1964 World's Fair in Queens, and still stands in Flushing Meadows Corona Park, which is where CitiField is. So there is a method to my madness.
In other news I've had a rough week at work (combination of getting stuff ready for the village's annual street fair and for our summer programming). Not terribly bad (and I got a lot of compliments on stuff), just exhausting in the everyone else is stressed and "I'm on negative spoons" way (to the point where at the teen movie night tonight, I plugged in my headphones and listened to Wreck of the Titan instead of watching Avatar. If I hadn't already bought my ticket, I wouldn't even be considering a baseball game tomorrow.
Also, I have now remembered why I don't do first person games. I got about halfway through City of the Daleks today and emerged feeling incredibly nauseated. I think I may just find a good video walkthrough so I can get the story without having to deal with the swooping camera effects.
